Acknowledgement of Thanks!

Stephanie Edmonson

There are a lot of people that I could say thanks to for their help in this degree. First Baptist Beeville provided recommendations for enrollment first in 2006, then as a returning student in 2015, and again in 2018. Churches that I was given opportunity to serve were Axtell Baptist Church and voluntary service in music was with Lakeview Baptist Church, Spanish Congregation of FBC, and Emmanuel Baptist Church in Allende, NL, Mexico and area missionaries. Churches that I attended during full time loads were FBC Woodway and FBC Waco. FBC Waco also aided me in completing mentorship. Scholarship donors I sent thank you notes to were the Fielders and the McDades. Additional scholarship came from Kyle Lake's parents through the preaching scholarship very early in the degree-and I kept my promise-I preached several times before I graduated with several people's encouragement! The places I worked who's pay check went into tuition money was Mardel Christian Bookstore, Walmart, Baylor Bookstore, FBC Magnolia lot biz, Lakeview janitor, house cleaning, and elderly care sitting for another student. Thank you also to Bro. Mac Robinson for his recent financial gift, for baptizing me in 1988, and for being the first pastor that I ever took sermon notes from.

Among the thanks, my dad, Lionel Edmonson Jr wins distinguished scholarship donor for covering a portion of my tuition nearly every year and additional expenses outside of tuition which I could not cover and which equaled to or was more than the BGCT scholarship. When he could not cover the portion he promised-it did not matter how much the rest of the scholarship donors were willing to put down. The one little portion of money that he could not cover was not accounted for anywhere else and so I was unable to continue. God provided somewhere else and I stayed debt free. When my dad found financial means again then I was able to reapply and agreed to do so. My dad has been a deacon at First Baptist Church of Beeville, Texas since before I was born. His support alone has impacted and encouraged me to 'keep going', to 'press on', to 'move forward', and to 'get a move on' because 'on you go'. He was the only person able to make my graduation and it was very emotional for him to see me actually in the ranks of the current graduates and to hear my name called. Thank you Dad for being there and for helping me to finish!

And lastly, thank you to God for providing the means to the end and for the start of a new season.....
